When I was in third year college I am really excited to become a fourth year student because I know that being a fourth year student the road to practice teaching is very near. I am really excited to experience the practice teaching because I want to know, learn and experience the “real macoy” of my chosen profession which is teaching.

                During my internship I experience a lot and so much from what I’m expecting of what will happen on the internship. I experience different challenges situations and also happiness and good vibes. My first demonstration teaching in my grade 1 pupils are very challenging. I feel frustrated after that demo teaching because I got a failed P.L. I think it went wrong because it is my first teaching in real pupils which I didn’t experienced to teach with while we are having a demo teaching in our school. I brought the idea that the learners always answer me correctly and can do the activities on time which is wrong because they are only grade 1 pupils. I am really thankful to my cooperating teacher who is always there for me to guide and motivate me whenever I feel I can’t do the things I need to do.

                During my internship I experience to go on my own to the different places I’ve never been before. It is quite challenging and nervous because what if I get lost? or a bad things happen? Just like when my principal asked a favor to my cooperating teacher to bring her some books at Conception Grande Naga City. And my cooperating teacher asked a favor to me to do the task. While I am crossing at the pedestrian line a motorcycle overtake over the car and it almost bump me. That time, I feel really scared and nervous because I thought I will be in an accident but thanks God because I am safe. Although I experienced a lot of challenges I’m still thankful that I encounter those things because through that experience I learned a lot of new things. I will never forget my experienced to the different attitudes and behaviors of my pupils especially at the grade 1. Two children always caught my attention; the one is a war freak who always starts the fight with his classmate, while the other one is a bully. I admit sometimes I feel irritated especially to this two children but thanks God that I still have the patience to control my emotions to the pupils. A time came and I discover that there is a reason why the two children are like that. First, the one who always make a fight, in their house he always see his grandparents fighting. And the one who is bully is being bullied in their house by her sister. After knowing the reasons behind the actions of the two children I realized that I am wrong by judging them that’s why I did what I can do to help them and guide them to do good things. Also, I always remember the last Valentine’s day, my heart is full of joy because that valentine’s day is my first valentine’s that I received a lot of flowers, letters and sort of things that is really appreciated given to me by my pupils. It feels good thinking that your pupils did an effort for you. I am very thankful because they made me feel that there is another twist between teacher and pupils relationship.

                                During my internship I also participate in different events such as the Training Workshop on Establishing Community of Practice for Excellent Schools (COPES) in Camarines Sur which is held at Avenue Plaza at Naga City. I also attend the LAC Session or the Learning Action Cell which is also held in our school. Because of this different event I participate with, I learned a lot which I know I will be used when I become a professional teacher soon.
